8X20 - Rubber coating reduces damage if dropped. Monocular weighs 3.5 ounces, and is 3.75 inch long by 1.125 inch in diameter. Field of view is 7 degrees, with depth of field of 10.5 inch to infinity. Includes neck strap and case.
Monoculars and binoculars are described by two numbers. The first number is the magnification power and the second is the diameter of the objective lens in millimeters. The objective lens is the front lens and it's size determines how much light is gathered to view the magnified image. As the power increases, so should the size of the objective lens or the image becomes darker and harder to see.
